Vahag, an Armenian-American, and Hana, his Korean-American girlfriend, are both struggling actors who live in the heart of Hollywood. When Vahag is given the role of in play of Misak Metzarents, an early 20th century Romantic Armenian poet, he begins to confront his long dormant Armenian roots. Ultimately this distances Vahag from Hana and leads him to question what is "selfless happiness."
